THE BARROW REUNION ON THE HIGH SEAS!! OASIS STYLE!

The day at the Bahamas, Nasau, we met Rob Jensen and he took us to a private beach, and provided lunch and a boat ride and kayaks. Michelle and Tawnia were the only ones brave enough to kayak in the ocean as it was a bit cloudy and cool. But we had fun watching them! Mom and Ruthie bared their legs from some sun, and we all had a great Caribbean day! Oh, if only it could last longer!
Sorry, but this is a bit backward as I'm not the best blogger! If you want chronological order you have to start at the bottom!

Of course dinner was one of our favorite parts! It's all about the food! ha. We all dolled up on formal nights, and feasted with plenty of appetisers and entrees. I took pictures of everyone, but those of Matt and Michelle, and Brad, And Val and Gord didn't turn out. I sure loved spending all this time with my siblings that I don't get to see that often! thanks again Mother.

The Sailing trip gone bad! Oops. We had such a great time in St Maartin with our kids a couple years ago when we went sailing with 12 Metres. It is retired world class sailing ships, and we were the crew. The problem was that it was quite windy, and the sea was choppy, so several of us got sea sick! Oh darn! But everyone was great sports, and made the best of it. I bet they don't get very many 84 and 90 year old ladies on there! Mom and Ruth were great sports, even though mom got sick! Sorry mom!

Tawnia taking in some rays!!

WE had a great time on the beach and shopping in St Thomas. Michelle's friend met us and took us to two of the best beaches: Coki and Magen's Beach. We had a great fruit smoothie on the Coki Beach. The water was pretty warm. What a fun day! We also saw alot of the area while we were driving around. We walked back to the "Straw Market," getting splashed by the waves on the way, and did some local shopping.

What a fun time with Mom and Ruthie on the front of the ship watching them experimenting with being "blown away!"
There's our ship! The Oasis! It was huge! Dale made most of the travel arrangements, and he loves BIG!! It was such a beautiful ship and there was so much to do! It had a zip line, a wave pool, the Boardwalk, Central Park and plenty of shopping. The shows were so great! Every night we enjoyed one. We saw "Hairspray," a diving and water show, a comedian, a dance show, and the Ice show.
The boys and the girls waiting for our taxi to take us to the ship. Do we look excited?!

CARIBBEAN ON THE OASIS!!

My sweet mother took all of her children and their spouses on a fabulous vacation in February! What a wonderful gift to us to all be together like that! We all met in Florida, where the boys tried their hand at golf, and the girls did what girls do! WE went to a girly show and to lunch.
The evening before the cruise we went to the wharf in Fort Lauderdale to catch the water taxi , see the sights and go to dinner on the waterfront. We waited for the taxi for over an hour, but not to be undone, we had fun riding this bike around the wharf! Who knows whom it belonged too! We even talked mom into our mischieviousnss!
